Magnificent Spanish cavalry officer's sabre, M.1860, coat of arms of the noble family, Toledo 1864 in the Zuloaga's style. - Item details Description Magnificent Spanish cavalry officer's sabre, M.1860, with the coat of arms of the noble family, Toledo 1864 in the Zuloaga's style. The blade of slight curvature is very richly decorated with engraving. On one side, the image of the noble coat of arms of the owner, in the form of a fortress with two towers and a knight's helmet at the top. On the other side, the Coat of Arms of the Spanish Kings, The marriage of Queen Isabel of Castile and King Ferdinand of Leon resulted in a coat of arms depicting the symbols of both kingdomsãtwo castles and two lions. Also on the right side of the blade, surrounded by rich floral patterns, is the inscription Toledo 1864. Hilt very richly decorated with engraved ornaments and gold inlay. The owner's noble coat of arms is on the hilt. The wooden handle is wrapped in leather. Metal sheath with two rings.
