A Small sword in excellent condition, gilding, inscriptions on the blade, France, 18th century. - Item details Description A Small sword in excellent condition, gilding, inscriptions on the blade, France, 18th century. Steel straight blade, decorated with engraved, gilded ornaments and inscriptions on both sides. On the one hand ”Si mon bras redoutable est arme de cet fer” (If my formidable arm is armed with this iron), on the other hand ”J'attaquerai le diable au milieu de l'Enfer” (I'll attack the devil in the middle of hell). Figured hilt with protection is richly decorated in the Borroque style and gilded. A wonderful collectible sword in excellent condition. Length 102 cm.
