Nazi German Customs service dagger model 1937 by ACS - ALCOSO SOLINGEN, Wasserzoll, Replica. - Item details Description Nazi German Customs service dagger model 1937 by ACS - ALCOSO SOLINGEN, Wasserzoll, Replica. Gold plated aluminum fittings, wood grip covered in fine blue leather with twisted wrapped plated wire; pommel, ferrule, and crossguard are heavily plated with bright ”gold” with high relief details. Pommel has oak leaves. The bright nickel plated cross-grained blade is hallmarked Alcoso Solingen. The steel scabbard is covered with fine blue leather with three steel bands. Made from August 1937 till 1942 for the approximate 250 to 300 customs officers in the ports of Hamburg and Kiel qualified to wear this dagger.
