The blade is steel, straight, single-edged, with one wide fuller on both sides, nickel-plated. On the heel of the blade, this police dagger has an original branding CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN. The cheeks of the handle are horn, fixed to the handle of the blade with two rivets. In the center of one of the cheeks is the police emblem - an eagle in a wreath with a swastika in its paws. The pommel of the handle is fluted, made in the form of an eagle's head. The cross of the handle is made of nickel silver, bent upwards on one side towards the beak of the ”eagle”. The cross is decorated with oak leaves. On the guard and the mouth of the scabbard there are markings, H.P. 30 and H.P. 39. Black leather scabbard with nickel mounts.
