Straight, powerful blade, with deep fullers and perforations. Guard of classical for Spanish Left-hand dagger shape. Exquisitely decorated with chased and engraved ornament in floral style and mascaron, noble coat of arms in the form of a shield on which is depicted a lion above which are six stars. The steel pommel is decorated with relief engraving. The wooden handle is wrapped with iron wire. A fine example of weapon art. Good condition, Length 54 cm.
