A left-hand dagger, Knight of the Order of Alcántara, Spain, 17th century. - Item details Description A left-hand dagger, Knight of the Order of Alcantara, Spain, 17th century. Straight blade of lozenge section, provided with two, long, parallel rests at the base and a long ricasso decorated with medallion and the emblem of the Order of Alcantara. Iron hilt with twisted quillons. A fine knuckle guard decorated with noble coat of arms with crown, floral patterns and with twisted borders. The steel, round pommel is decorated with spiral grooves.
