A highly attractive red, leather covered box and folder constructed by the legendary leather artisan Frieda Thiesch, who was the manufacturer of the Knights Cross series of documents, the artisan’s name is gold blocked to the box. Box size 47x38 The exterior, bearing a gold embossed Heer-style German national eagle clutching a wreath with a swastika inside. Two locks close the box. Inside the box there is a folder in the same style as the box. The exterior of the cover bearing a gold embossed Heer-style German national eagle clutching a wreath with a swastika inside. Inside with a red cord to secure the document in place. This folder originally contained an award document for the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, the highest military awards granted by the Third Reich.
