Saber with scabbard, silver inlay, Syria, 19th-20th century. - Item details Description Saber with scabbard, silver inlay, Syria, 19th-20th century. A steel, curved blade with two fullers on each side. On one side of the blade there is an inscription in Arabic, on the other side there is a geometric silver ornament made using the kofgari technique and the swordsmith mark. The steel guard is decorated with silver ornaments made using the kofgari technique. Buffalo horn handle with lanyard hole. The wooden scabbard is covered with black leather.
