Hallmarks for R. & H. B. Kirkwood. 66-68 Thistle Street Edinburgh, Scottland, Sterling Silver and date mark for 1887. Has a Large rock crystal pommel with fancy prong setting and Celtic knot carved bone handle, mounted on the sheath with utility fork and knife with matching handles and pommels. The 33 cm blade with faceted back edge, double fuller and perforation. Leather sheath with fancy engraved sterling silver mounts, in very good condition. 49 cm. overall length.
