This rare KMST Iron Cross First Class is a beautiful and extremely desirable gem. The maker KMST is one of the rarest and most sought-after makers of the imperial Iron Crosses. The obverse of this cross with black paint on the core. The silver frame has a very nice, uncleaned, old patina, with deep toning to the flanges that contrasts with the beading’s dull gleam. The reverse of this cross also shows a nice patina, with the “KMST” maker initials as well as “DRGM” indicating a trademarked design. The condition is good.
