Sqn Ldr Len H Trent VC Signed RAF B36 Lockheed Ventura Start of RAF Operational Service May 1942 FDC. 12 Ventura aircraft attacked the Amsterdam power station with Sqn Ldr Trent leading. The Ventura were shot to pieces by ME 109s. The bombing run was undertaken by the remain 2 Ventura. The 11th aircraft was shot down. Sqn Ldr Trent was on his own. He managed to shoot down a ME 109. However, his aircraft was hit and exploded. He was captured and ended his war days in Stalag 111 where he was a prominent member of the Escape Committee. He was awarded the VC for his bravery, leadership and devotion to duty. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
