Majolica jar, Montelupo, late 16th-early 17th century
painted in shades of blue, yellow and orange; ovoid body with disc-shaped foot with slightly projecting edge; short neck with everted edge and handles bent at an angle set from the shoulder to the middle part of the vase, crossed by broad blue brushstrokes arranged horizontally along a central line. A Persian palmette decoration is neatly arranged on the body, h. cm. 23 (defects)
