Subasta Bidspirit | The dark hue olive wood

The dark hue olive wood spice box stands on a round, waisted,  domed foot. The foot is carved around the border with a rounded stepped band. The square central body, with rounded corners is attached with a round stamped medallion on each of the four side panels. The screwed flaring tall cover has a narrow tapering neck surmounted by a small flare tapering finial. One of the round metal medallion is decorated with the Hebrew word Zion, framed by an interlaced Star of David on a foliage background. . His height is 14 cm. Source: private collection.
