The composition is densely populated with fantastical anthropomorphic figures, snakes, and mythical beings surrounding a central, pyramid-like structure that appears to defy gravity, with figures seemingly floating or falling along its tiers. The base of the painting features a boat carrying hybrid creatures, including a harpist, set upon stylized water, reinforcing the narrative and dreamlike quality characteristic of Zephirin’s unique visionary style.
