After Edgar Degas 'L'Ecoliere' Figural Bronze
An Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) 1978 bronze sculpture titled 'L'Ecoliere, Jeune femme marchant dans la rue' depicting a schoolgirl in uniform walking and holding her school bag. Foundry mark on base copyright 1978 and numbered 48. Provenance: From the estate of Betty Dee Sefton of Beverly Hills, CA; passed down through descent to her son Yank Lee. Originally purchased from an antique dealer in Pouzolles, France in the 1950’s.
Condition: Very good condition.
Dimensions: 10 x 4.5 x 5.75 in
