EXTRAORDINARY ISFAHAN CARPET, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
design of branches with palmettes in sequence and secondary motifs with claws and flowers of the Prophet, in the central field with a blue background. Border also with shoots and palmettes on a white background.
Measurements cm. 550 x 350.
Three evident tears on one short side, one with partial darning.
STRORDINARIO TAPPETO ISFAHAN, INIZIO XX SECOLO
con disegno a tralci con palmette in sequenza e motivi secondari ad artigli e fiori del Profeta, nel campo centrale a fondo blu. Bordura anch'essa a tralci e palmette su fondo bianco.
Misure cm. 550 x 350.
Tre evidenti strappi del tappeto su di un lato corto, uno con rammendo parziale.
