Long letter from Rabbi Shimon Halevi Deutch. Antwerp 1909

A long letter [8 pages] written to Harav Yosef Zvi Dushinski as Rabbi of Galanta. In the opening of his letter he writes about his 2 sons, Rafael Moshe & Akiva who are coming to Galanta to learn, not before they visit the Holy Belzer Rebbe [at the request of his father in law Rabbi Yitzchak Ratzersdorfer]. The main body of the leter is in Divrei Torah.

Rabbi Shimon Helevi Deutch [1865-1928] was born in Seplak to his father Rabbi Rafael, a son-in-law of the Ksav Sofer. Learned by the Shevet Sofer and after his marriage he moved to Antwerp. He was a Torah giant and very sharp minded. He passed away in Frankfurt 1928/
