(Nicola Slaney’s designs are inspired by the works of Talwin Morris, a turn-of-the-century graphic artist who became influential in Art Nouveau book design, where line, curve and decoration were used to entice the reader.Nicola decided on a colour scheme before she designed the range, knowing that blacks, reds and pinks are synonymous with the style she was trying to recreate. To this she added the very delicate greens and blues to which she is so often drawn.)
