Very Rare, has only appeared once at public auction.


Signatures & writing in the holy hand of Rabbi Yechiel Michal HaCohen Fried Av Beth Din, of Balmazujvaros.


Harav Yechiel Mechel Hakohen Fried (1880-1940) Av Beis Din of Ivaresh and author of Toras Yaffa. He was a disciple of his father, the Pnei Meivin, and also studied by the Arugas Habosem. Following his father’s passing in 1917, Harav Yechiel Mechel succeeded him as Rav and Av Beis Din in Balmazujvaros where he stood at the helm of the Yeshivah for twenty-seven years until the Nazis’ rise to power in Hungary.


Stamps of his son Rabbi Oizer Hacohen Fried who succeeded him as Rabbi of Balmazujvaros. He passed away in 1944.
