CHINESE LOTUS QINGBAI BOWL
Southern Song Period, Song Dynasty, Ca. AD 960 - 1279. A delicately potted Qingbai porcelain bowl of conical form raised on a small circular foot. The body is covered with a thin, translucent, pale bluish glaze characteristic of Qingbai ware. The exterior is subtly moulded with a lotus petals design, while the interior remains plain. Size: 182mm x 60mm; Weight: 230g. Provenance: Private UK collection. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
