EGYPTIAN RED GLASS RAM AMULET
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. An amulet made of translucent red glass, modelled in the form of a striding ram. The animal is shown in profile with defined facial features, a curved horn, and incised lines indicating the fleece. It stands on an integral rectangular base, and a small loop is present along the spine for suspension.
