EGYPTIAN SILVER LOTUS PENDANT WITH GLASS INLAYS
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A silver pendant in the form of a lotus flower with a trapezoidal frame tapering towards the top, where a small cylindrical loop is present for suspension. The surface is divided by silver ribs radiating symmetrically. Each section contains coloured glass inlays in shades of blue, green, yellow, and white, fitted within the recessed compartments.
