RARE EARLY EGYPTIAN SERPENTINE DISH
Early Dynastic, Ca. 2900 - 2575 BC. A serpentine shallow bowl adorned with concentric circles in the centre with straight flaring sides, a recessed tondo and an inverted rim. Size: 280mm x 45mm; Weight: 865g. Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Jan Roelofs Antiquairs collection. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
