EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF NEFERTUM
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A finely cast bronze figure of Nefertum. The standing male deity is depicted with the left leg striding forward and arms resting at the sides. He is dressed in a pleated kilt and adorned with a uraeus and a lotus-form headdress. A suspension loop is positioned on the back. For similar see: National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Accession Number 260207; The Saint Louis Art Museum, Object Number 221:1954. Size: 210mm x 45mm; Weight: 305g.
