New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069.An Egyptian relief carved from pale orange sandstone. On the right, it depicts a head of a child with a long and detailed wig. On the left is a cartouche of a king. The relief preserves traces of original pigments especially cobalt blue.Size: 210mm x 260mm; Weight: 3.6kgProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014, acquired in 2008 from a UK private collection formed in the 1970s to 1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
