A rare and fine antique Chinese figurine modeled as a peacock bird decorated with polychrome cloisonne enamel with a highly detailed gilt silver filigree work. The bird is perched upon a hand carved cherrywood base stand with open fretwork designs. Dated from the Chinese Republic period, 1912 to 1949.
