An antique Indian gunpowder flask from the Mughal Empire period, 1526 to 1857. Of a nautilus shell form, carved of wood and covered in dark brown leather with a double sided stopper carved as a mythological animal head. Bearing two metal fitting rings, and a leather belt strap.
