A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER MUSTARD CONTAINER
Excellent Russian serving mustard container, made of gilded silver. Designed with a comfortable handle, a hinged lid decorated with a carved wreath on top, and a gorgeous spoon placed in a special hole in the lid, whose handle is made in the shape of a dragon's head. On the front side of the exterior of the mustard container, there is a bas-relief of a beautiful swan with spread wings and lowered head. There is a carved profile portrait of Nicholas II on the bottom's inside with the inscription in Russian: Nicholas II - the emperor and autocratic of all Russia. An imperial double-headed eagle with an inscription in Russian - Ruble 1899 is engraved at the bottom. Marked with Russian hallmarks, 84 Silver mark, Cyrillic and Assay marks. Total weight: 77 g.
