Tsarist Russia of 1870. A mixture of Orientalism and Romanesque stylistics, characteristic of the 1860s.
Where is the idea of a garden of paradise, a ball and spherical shapes, an elegant waist, combined with the heroism of Roman paws and the hilt of swords. Before us is an original and juicy phenomenon of smart choice, the dominant thesis of eclecticism, under whose sign lived almost the entire 19th century.
