Original antique advertising poster for the British Empire Exhibition 1924 featuring Scenes of Empire Series No. 1, image depicting a herdsman with cattle. The British Empire Exhibition, held at Wembley Park, London, from April 1924 to October 1925, was an international exhibition designed to promote trade. Horizontal. Large size. Poor condition, creasing, paper losses, staining, repaired tears, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK, designer: Gerald Spencer Pryse (1882-1956), size (cm): 102x127, year of printing: 1924.
