Travel Poster Jerez Grapes Sherry Wine Fiesta De La Vendimia Spain. Original vintage poster for the XIV Fiesta De La Vendimia / 14th Sherry Harvest Festival from 8-12 September 1961 featuring colourful artwork of a smiling lady holding up a vine leaf and green grapes, wearing a traditional red dress and white shawl flowing down over a bunch of grapes by the bold stylised title text on a yellow background. The Sherry Harvest Festival is held annually in September to celebrate the grape harvest; the ancient city of Jerez de la Frontera located in the Andalusia region is known as a world leader in the production of the fortified drink of sherry wine. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored folds, restored tears, minor staining, backed on linen. Country of issue: Spain, designer: Garbayo, size (cm): 101x69, year of printing: 1961.
