Travel Poster Loiretal Loire Valley France SNCF. Original vintage railway travel poster for France The Loire Valley in German - Frankreich Loiretal - issued by the state owned French national railways (SNCF Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francais; founded 1938) featuring a colourful geometric Cubist inspired painting by Jacques Despierre (1912-1995) of trees and building rooftops with church spires rising in front of a stone bridge over the Loire river leading across fields to hills in the distance. Good condition, creasing, pinholes, minor staining. Country of issue: France, designer: Jacques Despierre, size (cm): 100x62, year of printing: 1957.
