Travel Poster Mt Buffalo Australia Victorian Railways. Original vintage travel advertising poster for Mount Buffalo - Enjoy Buffalo's Bracing Altitudes this Summer Health-Giving Holidays in Nature's Playground. Great artwork by the renowned poster artist James Northfield (1887-1973) depicting a couple standing high on the top of rocks in the foreground enjoying the scenic view of the Australian landscape over a valley with trees and buildings below and snowy mountain peaks in the far distance, the title text displayed above the image in stylised red letters and below with an image of tourist accommodation at the historic Mount Buffalo Chalet (built 1909). Published by the Victorian Railways. Printed by Syd. Day Ltd. Very good condition, restored folds and tears, repaired minor tears in margins, backed on linen.
