Panoply with miniature bladed weapons
A set of 17 replicas of bladed weapons, including sabres, swords, knives and halberds, some reminiscent of originals from other periods, others newly invented, which surround a shield with the image of a lion rampant under which are crossed two banners with the national insignia of Spain. The whole is arranged on a reddish textile-covered board, the perimeter of which is closed with a pegboard. At the bottom is a plaque in reference to the honoured person: ‘To Dr Dn / Antonio Gómez H. / HISPANIC ARAB ARMS / E. R.’. Spanish work from around 1940.
Measurements: 57 x 41 cm (support); the measurements of the pieces vary between 31 and 12 cm.
