Elizabethan fan circa 1860 probably made in Valencia (Spain). Country with printed paper and lithographed and colored decoration (obverse) and unlithographed painting (reverse). Openwork wand made of mother-of-pearl with vegetal decoration. It stands out for its beauty and originality the two guards of this fan, matching with its rods, where a cameo appears with a representation of a woman seen in profile, piece crimped to a golden application; matching with this, the other guard, shows a small octagonal mirror, with the purpose of knowing the situation of the possible suitors of its possessor.

Obverse decorated with a scene depicting Moses saved from the waters. It represents the moment in which the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt, wearing a crown and located in the center of the composition, receives from the hand of her subjects a child recently taken out of a basket (below), future Moses, saved from the waters of the Nile River, located in the background.

Reverse with original painting showing a landscape with architecture and two fishermen by a river or lake. Very good preservation.
