Officer's girding sword. France, first quarter of XIX century.
Harness with beautiful classical decorations in high relief. Knob forming a warrior. The goddess Athena is depicted on the front of the pommel. Mother-of-pearl handles. Straight blade, decorated in its first third by means of bluing and engravings in gold.
Signed "Solingen" on the mustache. Good preservation. Restored rear handle. Stains and slight pitting on the blade. Total length 96,5 cm., blade 84 cm.
