Antique Burmese Monks - - A wonderful collection of antique hand carved Burmese Monks, specifically Sariputta & Moggallana. The larger 4 monks positioned seated, of guilted lacquered wood with mirrored glass inserts & thayo work. The 6 smaller monks have nicely carved faces and are decorated with gold gilt. A interesting and rare collection for Asian art enthusiasts. Circa : Early 20th century. Condition : Used, minor faults commensurate with age, 3 with signs of previous repair, overall good. Dim : 18cm (H) & 14cm (H)
